HE IS WISH!

okay. so today i packed the bags and wiped the shoes.

that explains why all the shoes are laid out. bleahz. still have so many things to pack.. and my room is still so intact except for the wardrobe... argh! but the living room is filled with cartons of stuff. woo~~ literally living in a mess. gotta start clearing my room tmr.

pics of chalet and other stuff to be posted everything is more or less settled.

went to new hse to choose curtains today.
and guess who i saw while me and my bro went to get some drinks downstairs. ..


the whole this year N2 class from my childcare swimming in the baby pool.
i was like ah!!!!
then a parent saw me and i gradually chatted with her and the other parents.
happened to be one of the children's birthday celebration.
the kids dun recognise me leh... perhaps due to long-time-no-see, perhaps due to my slack appearance also (tshirt, shorts, slippers). like what one of our lecturers said.. the children are not able to like connect the different situations or something like that. lol.

anyway, abit paiseh larh. chatting with the parents even tho they are very nice and friendly.. yah. then... aiyah. i knew it larh from the beginning.. i'm going to be neighbours with the kids if i stay there.

so get used to it peiling!

anyway, caught midnight show of ninja turtles with cousins and siblings. nostalgia larh nostalgia. my sis was the blue one, shufang the orange one, jenan the red one and me the purple one. that was our allocation so long time ago. long before the power rangers time. so i can only rmb ninja turtles thingy vaguely compared to power rangers. i dun even rmb that there's a casey in the cartoon and the names of the four ninja turtles. only rmb the four colours and their weapons. haha. i think the movie is good larh. esp if you are a ninja turtle fan. or used to like them cos that movie sort of bring back memories... more fun if you have your own ninja turtle gang. cos whenever michaelangelo does some funny things, i kept relating him to my cousin. lol. but there are quite a number of things which we think can be improved. and ya, like what my sis said, april where got know how to fight one? she was the one who always got captured by shredder one mah.. and the april's outfit. totally different larh. like so weird.

and my cousins also commented how come they (the ninja turtles) so thin one? shouldn't they have more fats? and also the ending song. the movie should have included the trademark ninja turtle song into it instead of the hip hop song or whatsoever. it would have been cooler.

yah. so the movie nvr entirely follow the cartoon. i think story plot can be changed.. but certain things (which are deeply rooted in our hearts) like the characters should remain unchanged. and from what i saw, most of the audience were teenagers or people or our age. perhaps, all have fond memories of ninja turtles and therefore we do have some expectations of it (the long time no see ninja turtles on big screen).

anyway, overall was good and makes us sooper hyper. but really so many things could be improved!!!

changed to home alone song. hehe. my fav xmas movie and it's sooper nice songs. too bad i couldn't find the soundtrack even at hmv.

i love this song! i heard it earlier this afternoon on the mtv channel and i immediately fell in love with it. the mtv look like sooper old one.. but i think the song is actually quite new.. maybe? haha. it;s from the romeo and juliet musical btw. but i prefer the starting duet to when the chorus starts.

btw, ive got sooo many things to say bt will blog again when im using another comp cos i need the scanner!! arhhh! then then then.. got chalet tmr. so exciting.

okay. i decided to change the song after i post this thing.. dun really like the chorus. hehe. i'll put the 'ah ah ah' song instead =)

aye. to my good friend out there reading this. i'm a sucker at consoling ppl and giving advices. and am super bad at expressing my feelings so much so that when im feeling sad, my face doesn't even give a clue. i just dunno how to show it. am sry abt that but i think im still a good listener larh. so if u hv any probs or anything dun hesitate to call me ya? just talk and i'll listen. okay. maybe even not talk, maybe just the presence to let u know that you have a friend whom u can pour your hearts out to. or maybe, omg. i dunno what im talking liao. anyway, just call me if u need me or something alright? i'll listen and try to help in any way i can. i know saying 'everything is fine' is bullshit cos it's definitely not. but ya... try not to think too much. there are probs sometimes, sometimes, even beyond our means/ so yah.. dun think so much lah okay? let's go arcade and play until shiok or anywhere u wanna go larh =)

went to watch music and lyrics with denise. erm. nice movie. nice songs. POP! goes my heart. lol.
saw the sofa we discarded on my way back home and suddenly felt a tinge of sadness.. it's as if we don't want it anymore. sad larh. and in like two more weeks, i'll be moving to another place. leaving the place, a house, a home i've been living for the past 18years. sigh.

anyway back to the happier news, i went out with my bro after i came home. went to see the tvb stars. we waited so long for them to come but just took a look at them and went shopping. hehhee. i bought a crayon shin chan toy/keychain from toys r us. finally decided to collect it. it's really too cute for me to resist larh. then later bought 3 used-rental vcds from best denki for 4dollars each. see see.. heez. lucky!=)

11th March 07 (Sun)
Went temple to help out. Just wanna say that it was so tiring and it would be so much better if there were less people who bossed ard and did nothing and also, people with serious attitude prob. don't u agree with me that voluntary work shld be done happily and harmoniously? haiz. SOME unappreciative bad bad creatures. opps! =X

See the 'some' in capital letters? cos there are also nice people there too larh. guess there's certain to be black sheep everywhere..

Went for an interview with Mich and Pearlyn. did not get it and am so glad i did not get it. despicable company.

Stayed at home all day. Packed the books into the boxes. Probably selling some of them away..

Went out with Dawn to Bugis. Saw Joyce. =)

Then, we went to plaza singapura. had high tea there at this nice restaurant/ shop selling victorian stuff...

EYE BAGS! gosh.. must start sleeping early le...

8th March 07 (Thurs)

Went for lunch and kbox with peipei, pris and pam.. The four P's according to pris. lol. fun! fahrenheit was opening then SHE then..... haha. was so cold larh kbox. always so cold. sweater and jeans were not enough for me. i needed a coat! Brr.

then peipei and i left early. she went for work while i went home for awhile before going to denise's house for dinner. she and her friend, jason whiipped up a nice meal. Yum. Oh! and Denise presented to me a nice piece of music she played. love that song. and of course, the jingle/chipmunk version. cute. =) btw, thanks for the dinner eh.

it's been raining for the past few days. brr~~

i've got so many many things to talk about. so let's start from last fri.

23th Feb 07 (Fri)

Went to Bukit Batok Community Center with Dawn to welcome my homestay. My sis could not accompany me cos she was scratched by wish while bathing him. deeep deep scratches.

reached there. the japanese students were already seated and us hosts, were supposed to find our names which were sticked on the chairs. i walked and walked. couldn't find leh. luckily annie, the organiser appeared and directed me to my seat/ and i saw Saya! My first hostee ever. The center's band was performing onstage and soon, the japanese students were also invited to dance to their music.

after the whole thingy, we went back to my house to put down her bags and after introducing her to my family members, saya, my siblings and i went to bedok 85 for supper! had satay, chicken wings, ba chou mi and sugar cane drink.

Oh man! i look like psycho........ haha.

we went back home, and before sleeping, we had a nice chat on languages. we taught her chinese and she taught me jap. hahaa.

24th Feb 07 (Sat)

It was a veru rushy day. many things popped up unplanned. hahs./ i was dead tired by the end of the day.

Went to Ya Kun at century square for breakfast. (no pics... i think we used saya's cam) we ordered sets a, b, c and d. and we shared the foods. (i still prefer SIM one. haha.)

Okay. then after that, we took mrt to bugis. went to parco first. took neoprints. With Saya around, we let her handle all those instructions on the screen with peaceful minds =)

took a walk round parco before heading to icon.

we dashed across the road to icon under the drizzle.. a lady was at the entrance pumping helium balloons. my sis went to the auntie and asked for one. to our surprise, the auntie stretched out her hand and gave all nine balloons to my sis. we were like woah lorh. so we started taking pics again. haha./

walked walked walked walked around icon. Nothing much. so we went to bugis street. and later on, to kuan yin temple.

later on, we took the taxi to far east plaza. this wasn't in my itinerary due to the lack of time but heck. at that point of time, play was priority, itinerary, second. actually, the reason of going far east, besides shopping, was to bring her to try chicken rice larh. hahs.



The chicken rice shop aunty was so high that she even high fived with saya when we left. lol.





So we shopped and shopped and shopped...

Then we proceeded to heerens. And guess who we saw on our way... FRANCIS NG!!! YICHENNNNNN!!! LOL. i went to chase him larh. really. at paragon there. but he rejected to take a photo. guess he was keeping a low profile larh. sian diaoz. but he really is handsome lorh. haha. saya seemed rather lost tho, cos i think she dunno who that person is. and when we went to the newsstand near heerens, covers of a particular magazine with fancis ng on it were pasted in a line at the top of the newstands larh! then i was so excited that i kept pointing out to saya. lol. pardon me larh. u must understand that im a hk drama freak and triumph to the skies is one of my fav tvb drama.


ok anyway, reached heerens. went hmv first. then gradually shopped ard. took a pic using saya's cam. then we went to hail a cab to marine parade for Roland Restaurant. mt siblings and i were comtemplating whether to bring saya to the night safari cos other hosts would be bringing their hostees and if we don't bring saya, she might feel left out. but by the time the dinner ends, it would be too late.. so we've decided to skip the dinner halfway. and eventually two of my cousins also went with us, with shufang as the driver. lol.
tho abit blur but still many Thanks to night safari staff for helping us take this pic =)

Yea. and like i said earlier, the whole day totally drained me out. my sis could still go and have supper with my cousins after driving us home. pro~

Actually, if not the fact that ive got to wake up at seven the next morning, i would have gone with them too. lol.


25th Feb 07 (Sun)

Woke up at 7. went to meet with Maya and Benjamin (another host and hostee) for breakfast at tampines east cc. yes, macdonalds. lol. after which, we took a taxi to bukit batok cc where all japanese students will gather to go sentosa. i didn't opt to go with them so i went home. ben gave me a lift at harborfront cos take mrt nearer than taking at bukit batok. so i thought might as well shop at vivo. went ard and ard. went daiso and page one.. bought some other stuff for saya, one of which includes a book with a picture of a truck. also went to the rooftop and took some pics.
went back home, suddenly thought of decorating the truck book for saya and did so. AND tadah!

nice? haha. my work leh, how can be not nice =p

so needless to say, we (my bro and i) went to the airport at night supposedly to send her off but in the end, just passing the things we had for her. cos the class had briefings and all so we din wanna disturb saya.

so ya. summing up the homestay prog = quite an experience

26th Feb 07 (Mon)

Went to Autism Center at clementi. was quite an eye opener. the T stools, the trampoline, the children, the really visual aids widely available in the classroom, etc. Chatting with one of the children's maid also made me learn more about children with autism. from what the lady shared, the parents spent alot on that particular child. Sending their child to some 'r something something' program besides this. The lady also had to take down the lessons the child had for that day and give an hour of revision for the child at home. Furthermore, the child also have a special diet. and from the improvements of the child i got to know from a first hander and from my observations on that day, i suddenly view early intervention as really really crucial but is also financially, physically and perhaps, emotionally straining.
